Now...down to business: Happy Thanksgiving! And if you don't celebrate...well this is awkward.
Well anyway...with today comes the usual traditions; family, food, football...and a nationally televised parade.
We start with the 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade live on NBC. This parade has a long standing tradition and is generally a fun event to watch before sitting down for the feast.
Football
This weekend of football has rivalry games for both the pros AND the collegiate, but we're focusing on the pro side, the NFL side and we kickoff with CBS showing an NFC North matchup ast the Chicago Bears (5-6) travel to Ford Field to face the Detroit Lions (7-4).
We then switch networks and divisions as it's a battle in the NFC East on Fox; the Eagles of Philadelphia travel to "Jerryworld" to go up against the Dallas Cowboys (8-3).
And on NBC in primetime it's a West Coast showdown, the Seahawks (7-4) head to Levi's Stadium, the site of Wrestlemania 31 to play against the 49ers (7-4)
Check local listings for time and station number, and join in on a day long tradition. Happy Turkey Day!

Should auld 2020 be forgot And never brought to mind? Yes. Yes, it should. It should be so far in the rear view that anything good from that year deserves a mulligan...like, have it repremiere/rerelease today. If not obvious, I am so ready for this new year as I imagine so many of you are...and why wouldn't we be? 2020 kicked off with fire, potential war, and the loss of one of the best basketball players known to the world in Kobe Bryant along with his daughter, and seven others...and it only got worse from there. We all know the big story of 2020 was COVID-19 and how we all coped whether it was locked in our homes or wearing masks to go out to stores & restaurants...for some it was either working from home...or having to come home to kids need help with their virtual learning...and for what felt like the longest Spring...we had no distractions from sports or movies...or at least movies in theaters - thank goodness for streaming - and even our television likely changed to reflect
